> A humanoid robot at an agricultural fair welcomes visitors, explains the exhibitor's machines and draws people to the stand, while quadruped robots are used to demonstrate work in the field. MERA Robotics (Warsaw, Poland) rents out Unitree G1 and H2 humanoid robots with its own operators for trade fairs in Poland and abroad, and sells Unitree quadruped robots through its shop merarobots.com.

A humanoid robot on a stand at an agricultural trade fair such as Agritechnica, EuroTier, AGRO SHOW or Agrotech works as a stand guide, a crowd magnet and a conversation partner that explains the exhibitor's machines and services. It does not plough or work in the field: field robotics is demonstrated by quadruped robots and autonomous machines. The exhibitor must register the robot with the organiser, mark out a working zone and inform guests about the camera and the AI conversation.

MERA Robotics (Warsaw, Poland) rents out Unitree G1 and Unitree H2 humanoid robots with its own operators for events, and sells Unitree quadruped robots, including the Go2, A2 and the industrial B2, through its shop merarobots.com. Below you will find the key fairs, the robot's roles, the rules and the criteria for choosing a partner.

## At which agricultural fairs does a robot get the most work?

A humanoid robot gets the most work at large agricultural machinery fairs, where exhibitors compete for the attention of thousands of farmers, dealers and investors.

**Agritechnica, Hanover.** According to DLG, the 2025 edition drew around 476,000 visitors from 171 countries, and 2,849 exhibitors from 52 countries showed their technology. The next edition runs on 14-20 November 2027, and exhibitor registration opens on 16 November 2026. The organiser says plainly that robots and other autonomous machines working independently in the field are no longer a futuristic vision.

**EuroTier, Hanover.** DLG's livestock fair takes place on 10-13 November 2026. It suits companies with technology for barns, feeding and animal welfare.

**AGRO SHOW, Bednary.** The outdoor agricultural show near Poznań, Poland, took place on 18-20 September in 2026. A robot works outdoors there, so rain, sun and uneven ground need planning.

**Agrotech, Kielce.** According to Targi Kielce, Agrotech gathers over 500 exhibitors every year, and the edition before 2026 set a record of 80 thousand visitors.

| Fair | Location | Timing | Notes for the robot |
|---|---|---|---|
| Agritechnica | Hanover (DE) | November 2027 | indoor hall, crowds, German and English |
| EuroTier | Hanover (DE) | November 2026 | indoor hall, livestock |
| AGRO SHOW | Bednary (PL) | September | open-air, weather and ground |
| Agrotech | Kielce (PL) | March | indoor hall |

## What can a humanoid robot do on an agricultural company's stand?

A humanoid robot on an agricultural company's stand works best in four roles:

- **Welcoming and stopping visitors.** The robot greets passers-by, asks what they are looking for and sends them to the right salesperson for tractors, sprayers or farm software.
- **Explaining the product.** The robot knows the exhibitor's machines and services and answers questions in plain language. MERA Robotics prepares what the robot says for each specific event: knowledge about the client, the offer and the fair programme.
- **Image recognition demo.** The robot can also recognise objects through its camera and react to them in conversation, for example recognise a product model on display and talk about it.
- **Social media content.** Short clips of the robot next to a machine work well in trade fair coverage.

For companies that want to show real work in the field, quadruped robots, for example for inspection and patrols, are a better choice. MERA Robotics' range includes the Unitree Go2 Air (about 2 h of operation, L1 360° LiDAR), the A2 (37 kg payload, 20 km range on one charge) and the industrial B2 (120 kg payload, IP67 sealing, 4-6 h of operation), but for rental with an operator the company offers only the G1 and H2 humanoids. ## Which rules apply to a robot at an agricultural fair?

A robot at an agricultural fair is subject to the organiser's technical regulations, machinery rules, the GDPR and the AI Act.

- **Fair regulations.** Moving machines on a stand usually need to be declared to and approved by the organiser. Ask when you book the stand, not a week before the fair.
- **Machinery Regulation.** According to EU-OSHA, Regulation (EU) 2023/1230 replaces Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC, is meant to better cover autonomous mobile machinery including robots, and applies from 20 January 2027. More in our article on a [robot at a factory open day and industrial trade fair](https://merarobotics.com/blog/humanoid-robot-factory-open-day-industrial-trade-fair-safety-machinery-regulatio).
- **AI Act.** Article 50 requires that people talking to an AI system are informed that it is AI. A short self-introduction by the robot at the start of each conversation is enough.
- **Camera and GDPR.** A sign at the stand naming the camera and the data controller, recording only when needed, and consent from people before footage is published.

Outdoor fairs add the weather: a humanoid robot should not work in rain or mud. Details in our guide on a [humanoid robot at an outdoor event](https://merarobotics.com/blog/humanoid-robot-at-outdoor-event-rain-heat-cold-ground-surface).

## How do you prepare a stand with a robot at an agricultural fair?

A stand with a humanoid robot at an agricultural fair needs a few decisions made early:

1. **Working zone.** A marked area with a level floor, away from moving parts of the machines on display.
2. **Power and network.** A socket for charging batteries and a stable connection, ideally wired.
3. **Knowledge and script.** The list of machines, specs and the questions farmers ask, plus the people the robot should send visitors to.
4. **Language.** German and English at Agritechnica, Polish at fairs in Poland; with foreign visitors the robot switches to their language.
5. **Rehearsal.** Testing conversations in hall noise and proper nouns before the fair opens.

## How do you choose a partner for a robot at an agricultural fair?

A partner for a humanoid robot at an agricultural fair is worth checking against a few verifiable criteria:

1. **Own operators on site** for the robot's whole working time.
2. **Own conversation software** with knowledge about the exhibitor's machines and services.
3. **Robot models** that fit the stand, plus quadruped robots to buy if needed.
4. **Experience with fairs abroad**, including Germany.
5. **Spare batteries and a charging plan** for multi-day fairs.
6. **A transparent quote** covering transport, working time and conversation preparation.

MERA Robotics from Warsaw has a fleet of Unitree G1 (approx. 132 cm, approx. 35 kg) and Unitree H2 (approx. 182 cm) robots, its own operators who bring and run the robot on site, and its own conversation system, MERA OS, with more than 30 languages. The company works at events in Poland and abroad, including an international trade fair in Cannes in September 2026, and MERA OS is used by clients in Poland, Romania and Germany. The merarobots.com shop sells Unitree quadruped robots, and MERA Robotics checks every robot before it is handed over to a client.

Pricing is individual and depends on the robot's working time, the location and logistics; enquiries go to contact@merarobotics.com or through the form on merarobotics.com.

## FAQ

### Can a humanoid robot demonstrate field work at an agricultural fair?

No. A humanoid robot on a stand welcomes guests, talks and explains machines. Quadruped robots are better for inspection or patrol demos outdoors, and field work is shown by field robots and autonomous tractors.

### When is the next Agritechnica?

According to the organiser, the next Agritechnica takes place in Hanover on 14-20 November 2027, and exhibitor registration opens on 16 November 2026.

### Does a robot on a stand have to say that it is an AI?

Yes, Article 50 of the AI Act requires that people talking to an AI system are informed of it, unless this is obvious. With a humanoid robot it usually is, but a short self-introduction removes any doubt.

### Can a humanoid robot work at an open-air fair like AGRO SHOW?

Yes, but only in good weather and on level, dry ground. The stand should be covered, and the day plan should include breaks for charging batteries.

### Who provides a robot for an agricultural fair?

MERA Robotics (Warsaw, Poland) rents out Unitree G1 and H2 robots with its own operators for trade fairs and events in Poland and abroad, and the robot speaks through MERA OS in more than 30 languages; Unitree quadruped robots can be bought in the merarobots.com shop, and the company prepares a rental quote after an enquiry to contact@merarobotics.com.
