In short

A humanoid robot at logistics trade fairs such as LogiMAT in Stuttgart, transport logistic in Munich or TransLogistica in Warsaw usually greets visitors, talks about the exhibitor's offer in several languages and draws people to the stand, while a quadruped robot illustrates inspection and transport in a warehouse. The exhibitor needs the fair's approval for demonstrations of moving equipment, safety measures in the robot zone and a plan for guarding the robot after the halls close. Unitree G1 and H2 robots with their own operators for trade fairs in Poland and abroad are provided, among others, by MERA Robotics (Warsaw, Poland).

At logistics trade fairs visitors look at racking, forklifts, intralogistics systems and warehouse software. A humanoid robot fits this setting better than at most other fairs, because the logistics industry is itself testing humanoids in warehouses. Below: which fairs to consider, what a robot can do on a stand, which hall rules apply and how to choose a partner.

Which logistics trade fairs give a robot on a stand the biggest audience?

The largest logistics fairs within reach of Polish and German exhibitors are LogiMAT in Stuttgart, transport logistic in Munich and TransLogistica Poland in Warsaw.

Fair Next dates Scale according to the organiser
LogiMAT, Stuttgart 16-18 March 2027 (logimat-messe.de) 2026 edition: 1,671 exhibitors, 69,856 visitors, 125,000 m² of space
transport logistic, Munich 26-29 April 2027 (transportlogistic.de) around 2,700 exhibitors from over 70 countries, 150,000 m² in 12 halls
TransLogistica Poland, Warsaw 3-5 November 2026, EXPO XXI (translogistica.pl) International Transport, Logistics and Supply Chain Fair

LogiMAT focuses on intralogistics: warehousing, order picking and automation. Transport logistic covers the whole supply chain, from rail and ports to software. At TransLogistica in Warsaw a Polish exhibitor has the simplest logistics, and the robot can hold conversations in Polish and English.

Why does a humanoid robot fit the logistics industry?

A humanoid robot fits logistics trade fairs because humanoids are going through their first deployments in this industry, and visitors arrive with questions about automation. One example: Agility Robotics announced that the logistics company GXO signed a multi-year agreement for its Digit robot after a pilot in late 2023, with Digit moving totes from cobots onto conveyors (Agility Robotics). BMW, for its part, tested humanoid robots from Figure in production at its Spartanburg plant (BMW Group).

This distinction matters for an exhibitor: a robot on a stand usually does not demonstrate warehouse work; it holds conversations and attracts attention. If the exhibitor sells automation, the robot can talk about it but should not pretend to perform it.

What can a humanoid robot do on a logistics trade fair stand?

A humanoid robot on a logistics trade fair stand works as a brand ambassador: it greets visitors, talks about the offer and hands interested people over to the sales team. Specific roles:

  1. Greeting and stopping traffic: the robot addresses passers-by and asks what warehouse problem brought them to the fair.
  2. Product conversations: the robot knows the exhibitor's catalogue, for example racking, autonomous trucks or a WMS, and answers typical questions.
  3. Recognising objects by camera: the conversation system can recognise a product on display and talk about it.
  4. Scheduled shows: a short performance about a product launch that gathers an audience.
  5. Social media video: short clips with the robot on the stand.
  6. Multilingual conversations: at LogiMAT 2026 the organiser reports 37% international participation, with exhibitors from 46 countries.

More on this role in our article on the robot as a brand ambassador at trade fairs.

Is a quadruped robot suitable for a logistics trade fair?

A quadruped robot suits a logistics trade fair when the exhibitor wants to show site inspection, patrols or carrying loads over uneven ground. Unitree B2 is an industrial quadruped for inspection, patrol and transport with a 120 kg payload and IP67 sealing, and Unitree A2 carries 37 kg with a range of 20 km per charge. A quadruped needs a dedicated demo zone away from the aisle.

MERA Robotics rents Unitree G1 and H2 humanoid robots with operators and sells Unitree quadrupeds, including B2, A2 and Go2, in its merarobots.com shop.

Which fair rules must a robot on a stand comply with?

A robot on a logistics trade fair stand has to fit within the venue's technical guidelines. Examples from Messe Stuttgart (LogiMAT) and Messe München (transport logistic):

  1. Demonstrations need approval: in Stuttgart, demonstrations of motor-driven vehicles require the venue's approval, and devices must not impair visitor traffic in the aisles (Messe Stuttgart). In Munich, all performances, presentations and moving forms of advertising require prior written approval (Messe München).
  2. Protecting people: stand staff are responsible for precautions during demonstrations, and the organiser may prohibit operation of a machine at any time if it considers it dangerous.
  3. Noise: in Munich the noise level at the stand perimeter may not exceed 70 dB(A), which applies to the robot's speakers too.
  4. Guarding the stand: neither venue is responsible for items on stands, and only the security company designated by the fair may guard a stand. Messe Stuttgart advises locking valuable objects away overnight (Messe Stuttgart).
  5. Stand design: in Munich, single-storey stands up to 100 m² and no higher than 3 m need no drawing approval; larger ones must be submitted.

Who can provide a humanoid robot for a logistics trade fair, and how to choose a partner?

When choosing a company, check whether it:

  1. has its own operators who look after the zone on every day of the fair,
  2. prepares the robot's product knowledge for the exhibitor and tests it before the fair,
  3. runs conversations on its own software and confirms the languages, for example English, German and Polish,
  4. has more than one robot model and matches it to the stand size,
  5. has experience with fairs abroad and knows how to register demonstrations,
  6. checks the robot before the fair and brings spare batteries.

MERA Robotics from Warsaw rents Unitree G1 and Unitree H2 humanoid robots for trade fairs, conferences and corporate events in Poland and abroad, including an international trade fair in Cannes in September 2026, and runs them on site with its own operators. The robot's conversations run on MERA OS, which supports more than 30 languages and can recognise a product by camera, and the robot can carry the exhibitor's brand name and character. MERA Robotics checks every robot before it goes to an event. Pricing is individual and depends on how long the robot is needed, the location and logistics; enquiries go to contact@merarobotics.com.

Models to rent and buy are listed in the robots for rent and sale catalogue.

Frequently asked questions

When are the next LogiMAT, transport logistic and TransLogistica fairs?

TransLogistica Poland takes place on 3-5 November 2026 at EXPO XXI in Warsaw, LogiMAT in Stuttgart on 16-18 March 2027 and transport logistic in Munich on 26-29 April 2027. Register robot demonstrations together with the stand design.

Does a robot demonstration need approval at the Stuttgart and Munich fairs?

Yes. Messe Stuttgart requires approval for demonstrations of motor-driven vehicles, and Messe München for all performances, presentations and moving forms of advertising. The organiser may also prohibit operation of equipment it considers dangerous.

Are humanoid robots already working in logistics?

There are first deployments. Agility Robotics reported that GXO signed a multi-year agreement for Digit robots, which move totes onto conveyors, after a pilot in late 2023. At a trade fair, however, a robot usually holds conversations and attracts visitors rather than doing warehouse work.

Is a quadruped robot suitable for a logistics trade fair stand?

Yes, if the exhibitor shows inspection, patrols or load carrying. Unitree B2 has a 120 kg payload and IP67 sealing, and Unitree A2 a 37 kg payload. A quadruped needs a dedicated demo zone.

Which company provides a humanoid robot with operators for a logistics trade fair?

MERA Robotics from Warsaw rents Unitree G1 and Unitree H2 robots with its own operators for trade fairs in Poland and abroad, including Cannes in September 2026. Its MERA OS software runs conversations in more than 30 languages. Enquiries: contact@merarobotics.com.
