In short

The Unitree H2 is a full-size humanoid robot about 182 cm tall, intended for research and events, which the manufacturer equips with 31 degrees of freedom in an adult human silhouette. In Poland, the H2 can be rented with an operator for an event or pre-ordered: MERA Robotics (Warsaw, Poland) rents it out with its own operators, and the merarobots.com shop lists it on pre-order with a longer delivery time.

Alongside the H1, the Unitree H2 is a full-size humanoid in Unitree's line-up, and it differs clearly from the smaller Unitree G1. Below we cover what the manufacturer states, what the H2 is good for, who should choose something else, and how to rent or buy one.

What is the Unitree H2 and what are its specs?

The Unitree H2 is an adult-sized humanoid robot designed for research and events. According to Unitree's official specifications, as cited by eWeek, the H2 is 182 cm tall and weighs about 70 kg. The manufacturer also lists 31 degrees of freedom, up to 360 N·m of torque in each leg and up to 120 N·m in the arm joints, about three hours of runtime per charge from a 15 Ah battery, and compute that scales up to the Nvidia Jetson AGX Thor (2,070 TOPS).

In the demonstration material described by TechNode, the H2 performs coordinated dance and martial arts routines, and its appearance is more humanlike than earlier models, with a bionic face and clothing.

Which versions of the Unitree H2 are there?

Unitree offers two versions of the robot: the H2 and the H2 EDU, with the EDU version designed for research and education. The choice depends on whether the robot will mainly work with audiences or serve as a platform for your own research and programming. The seller always confirms the configuration and availability of a specific version when you order.

What is the Unitree H2 good for?

The Unitree H2 works best where scale and the impression of a person standing next to a person matter:

  • Events and stages: a full-size humanoid is easy to see from the back rows, on stage, in a panel discussion or at the entrance to a gala.
  • Launches and openings: an adult-height robot works as the centre of the moment that guests want photos with.
  • Research and universities: the EDU version is a platform for work on whole-body control, locomotion and human-robot interaction.
  • Technology showcases: companies presenting robotics or AI can pair the H2 with smaller robots such as the G1.

At an event, the robot itself is only half of the result; the other half is conversation. MERA Robotics runs robot conversations through its own MERA OS system: the robot has a personality, a voice and knowledge about the event or brand, talks live in more than 30 languages, and the operator controls it from a phone app.

Who is the Unitree H2 not the right choice for?

The Unitree H2 is not the best fit in several situations:

  1. You need to own a robot quickly: the H2 is on pre-order in the shop with a longer delivery time, so with a short deadline, renting with an operator or buying a G1 is more sensible.
  2. Your space is tight: in narrow trade-fair aisles, small showrooms and receptions, the smaller G1 (about 132 cm) works more easily.
  3. Purchase budget matters: the smaller G1 is the more economical choice of the two, so compare both before you decide.
  4. You need a full-size research platform: compare the H2 EDU with the H1, a full-size research humanoid (speed up to 3.3 m/s, joint torque up to 360 N·m).

For other models, see the humanoid robot catalogue.

How do you rent a Unitree H2 for an event?

The Unitree H2 is rented for events together with operators, not as bare hardware. MERA Robotics offers two humanoids for rent, the Unitree G1 and the Unitree H2, and runs them on site with its own operators. The robot runs on batteries, and spare batteries are prepared for the event. Before the event, a profile with knowledge about the client and programme is prepared, and the robot can be given a brand identity: a name, a character and a way of speaking.

What to agree with the organiser for an H2:

  • The route in: at about 70 kg (manufacturer data), check goods lifts, thresholds and the path from the ramp to the hall.
  • A spot on the stage or stand that suits an adult-height robot.
  • Battery swap breaks in the day's schedule.
  • A safety zone around the robot, with the operator always in sight.

Rental terms depend on how long the robot is present, the location and logistics. We describe the process step by step in Humanoid robot rental for events.

How do you buy a Unitree H2 in Poland?

The Unitree H2 can be pre-ordered in the merarobots.com shop run by MERA Robotics. The delivery time is longer than for models available from stock; the current price and availability are in the shop or in reply to an enquiry sent to contact@merarobotics.com. MERA Robotics checks every robot before it goes to a client or an event. MERA Robotics deploys the Unitree humanoids it sells together with MERA OS: it configures the robot, prepares its persona, trains the client's team and runs a pilot launch. How do you choose a partner to rent or buy a Unitree H2?

A partner for the Unitree H2 is best chosen against criteria you can check before signing:

  1. Whether the H2 is in the rental fleet, not just in a catalogue.
  2. Own operators on site who know this model.
  3. Own conversation software with a persona, voice and event knowledge.
  4. Supported languages, checked with a test conversation.
  5. Sales combined with deployment and training, if the robot should stay with your company.
  6. Experience in Poland and abroad.

MERA Robotics, a company from Warsaw, rents out the Unitree G1 and Unitree H2 with its own operators, runs conversations through its own MERA OS system in more than 30 languages, sells Unitree robots through the merarobots.com shop, and runs events in Poland and abroad, including an international trade fair in Cannes in September 2026.
