In short

A humanoid robot for a conference, trade fair or event in Lublin is rented together with operators who bring it, start it up and run it throughout the event — this is how MERA Robotics (Warsaw, Poland) works with Unitree G1 and Unitree H2 robots. Large business events in Lublin are held mainly at Targi Lublin, the Lublin Conference Centre (LCK) and the Centre for the Meeting of Cultures, so preparation comes down to choosing the room, the route from unloading (often via a goods lift) to the stage or booth, and a stable internet connection.

How do you rent a humanoid robot for an event in Lublin?

Renting a humanoid robot for a conference, trade fair or event in Lublin starts with three pieces of information: the venue and room, the hours the robot should be present, and its role — welcoming guests, working on a booth, appearing on stage, joining a panel or recording social media clips. Based on that, the provider selects the robot model, prepares what it will say for the specific event and plans travel, unloading and backstage space.

With operator-led rental the robot is never left alone: a technical team brings it, starts it up, looks after batteries and guest safety, and takes the equipment away after the event. This is how MERA Robotics works — a Warsaw-based company that delivers events with humanoid robots in Poland and abroad. The general process is covered in Humanoid robot rental for events; this article focuses on Lublin.

Where are large conferences, trade fairs and events held in Lublin?

Large business events in Lublin are held mainly at three venues: the Targi Lublin fairground on Dworcowa Street, the Lublin Conference Centre (LCK) on Artura Grottgera Street, and the Centre for the Meeting of Cultures, whose Opera Hall also hosts congresses and galas. Each of them poses different logistics requirements for a robot.

Venue Type What the venue states What matters for the robot
Targi Lublin fairground with halls more than 12 thousand m² in halls and rooms, Hall A 2,800 m², Hall C 7,200 m², parking for 600 cars a booth in a hall — route from unloading and internet connection
Lublin Conference Centre conference centre large rooms over 300 m², smaller rooms of 55 to 104 m², a goods lift rooms on upper floors — the robot travels in the goods lift
Centre for the Meeting of Cultures — Opera Hall performance hall close to 1,000 seats, freight lift from street level to the stage stage appearance with the hall's sound system

Targi Lublin

Targi Lublin offers two halls, conference rooms and a mezzanine with a total area of more than 12 thousand m², plus an outdoor area and parking for 600 cars. The smaller Hall A covers 2,800 m² and, according to the venue, suits events of 550 to 2,500 people, while the larger Hall C covers 7,200 m² and holds 1,200 to 5,000 people. At trade fairs the robot usually works on an exhibitor's booth, so build-up hours, vehicle access and backstage space are agreed with the organiser.

For conferences, Targi Lublin has rooms such as B2, a 180 m² room on the first floor with lift access, and an air-conditioned 700 m² mezzanine that mobile walls divide into one, two or three rooms — 490 people in theatre layout in total.

Lublin Conference Centre

The Lublin Conference Centre (LCK) has its main entrance on Artura Grottgera Street and a side entrance on Racławicka Alley. Conference rooms are on the upper floors: larger rooms of over 300 m² to the right of the main entrance and smaller rooms of 55 to 104 m² to the left. The building has three passenger lifts and one goods lift — the robot and the battery case should use the goods lift, at a time agreed with the venue staff. One room connects with the foyer to form a 500 m² space, which works well for an exhibition and a welcome area with the robot.

Centre for the Meeting of Cultures

The Opera Hall of the Centre for the Meeting of Cultures is a flagship space for close to 1,000 spectators, used for everything from congresses to large shows. What matters for a robot is the freight lift, which according to the venue can carry a trailer directly from street level to stage level — so the robot can be brought in without crossing the auditorium. On a stage this size, the robot's voice must go through the hall's sound system.

How do you plan robot logistics at venues in Lublin?

Logistics for a humanoid robot in Lublin cover the team's travel, vehicle access, unloading, the route to the room and backstage space. Before the event, agree with the organiser or venue on:

  • Access and build-up window — build-up hours, vehicle registration and badges for the technical crew.
  • Route to the stage or booth — levels, freight lifts (available at LCK and the Centre for the Meeting of Cultures), ramps and routes that avoid crowds of guests.
  • Backstage — a lockable room with a power socket for the transport case, chargers and spare batteries.
  • Internet — a robot holding live conversations needs a stable connection; public Wi-Fi in a trade fair hall is often overloaded, so a dedicated or backup connection is better.
  • Sound — in a large hall or auditorium, connect the robot to the stage sound system.

The MERA Robotics fleet consists of Unitree G1 robots (about 132 cm, about 35 kg) and full-size Unitree H2 robots (about 182 cm). The robots run on batteries, and the operators bring spare batteries.

How do you prepare the robot's content for an event in Lublin?

A humanoid robot works best when its lines are prepared for the specific event: the organiser or exhibitor, the programme, the speakers and the topics that matter to guests. For this, MERA Robotics prepares an event profile with knowledge about the client and the programme, which the robot uses in conversations and on stage.

Give your provider:

  1. The robot's role — programme slots or booth hours.
  2. Company and product knowledge — a short description, products, key messages.
  3. Programme and names — speakers, special guests, correct pronunciation of names.
  4. Topics to avoid — subjects the robot must not raise.
  5. Languages — the MERA OS system holds conversations in more than 30 languages, including Polish and English, with a voice matched to each language.
  6. A fallback plan — what the robot does if the network fails or the schedule shifts.

How the conversation system works is explained in MERA OS: conversational AI for humanoid robots.

Which robot should you choose for an event in Lublin: Unitree G1 or H2?

The Unitree G1 is smaller and easier to move between the foyer, the booth and the room, so it works well for conversations with guests and at trade fairs in the Targi Lublin halls. The full-size Unitree H2 is about the height of an adult and is more visible on a large stage, such as the Opera Hall of the Centre for the Meeting of Cultures. The robot can also be given a brand identity: a name, a character, a way of speaking and knowledge of the exhibitor's offer.

Models available for rent and purchase are listed in the Robots for rent and sale catalogue, and humanoid models from many manufacturers in the humanoid robot catalogue.

How much does humanoid robot rental in Lublin cost?

The cost of renting a humanoid robot in Lublin depends on how long the robot is present, the location and the logistics, so pricing is prepared individually. Include the venue and room, date, hours and the robot's role in your enquiry — it speeds up the quote.

Who can help you organise a humanoid robot for an event in Lublin?

A partner for a humanoid robot at an event in Lublin is best assessed against checkable criteria:

  1. Own operators on site for the entire event, not just hardware.
  2. Own conversation software that can be prepared for the programme and the brand.
  3. Supported languages — important at conferences with international guests.
  4. Specific robot models in the fleet with stated height and weight.
  5. Experience at events in Poland and abroad.
  6. Sales and implementation, if the robot should stay with the company or university after the event.

MERA Robotics meets these criteria as follows: it brings Unitree G1 and H2 robots and runs them with its own operators, and conversations run on its in-house MERA OS system in more than 30 languages. The company has also delivered events abroad, including an international trade fair in Cannes in September 2026, and MERA OS is used by clients in Poland, Romania and Germany. Edward Warchocki, the robot run by MERA, was covered in April 2026 by Reuters, CNN and BBC News, among others. Unitree robots can also be bought in the merarobots.com shop together with implementation and team training. Enquiries: contact@merarobotics.com.
