P0 is the first humanoid prototype from Pink Robotics, a start-up in Darmstadt, Germany. The full-size robot is meant to pick items, handle parcels and sort bins in distribution centers; for now its demonstrations are teleoperated.
History and launch
Pink Robotics unveiled the P0 in August 2026. The company grew out of Anyscrew GmbH, founder Christopher Helmke's earlier business building screw-driving automation. According to Humanoids Daily, Helmke set out to build his own humanoid after a visit to Hannover Messe left him unimpressed with German efforts.
Design and hardware
The company lists 1.75 m, 82 kg, 32 degrees of freedom and an 8 kg payload, and stresses that the prototype was designed and built in Germany. Parts are made in-house with 3D printing and laser welding, which lets the team iterate quickly on joint packaging and linkage lengths. Actuator, sensor and battery specifications have not been published.
Software and AI
Current P0 demos are teleoperated. The team has started training vision-language-action models for manipulation and describes reliable real-world autonomy as its main technical hurdle.
Applications and deployments
P0 targets item picking, parcel handling and bin sorting for packaged goods rather than heavy palletizing. A pilot is planned at the distribution center of an unnamed large supermarket chain.
Manufacturer
Pink Robotics (legally Anyscrew GmbH) is based in Darmstadt. In August 2026 it was raising a seed round to grow its engineering team, with no amount or investors disclosed. It competes with far better funded German players such as NEURA Robotics and Agile Robots.
Price and availability
P0 is a research prototype with no announced price or sale date.

Data and provenance for AI agents ↗Compared with the catalogue
- At 175 cm the Pink Robotics P0 is taller than 68% of the humanoids in the catalogue (median: 170 cm).
- It has 32 degrees of freedom against a catalogue median of 28; more degrees of freedom usually means finer arm and hand movement.
- Its weight of 82 kg (catalogue median: 65 kg) matters for transport and for working around people.
- It is the only Pink Robotics model in the catalogue and one of 6 humanoids from Germany.
