In short

A humanoid robot for a conference, trade fair or event in Szczecin is rented with operators who bring it, start it up and run it for the whole event — this is how MERA Robotics (Warsaw, Poland) works with Unitree G1 and Unitree H2 robots. Trade fairs and large events mainly take place at Enea Arena, and galas and staged conferences at the Mieczysław Karłowicz Philharmonic, so preparation is mostly about the room, the route from unloading to the stage or stand, and a stable internet connection.

How do you rent a humanoid robot for an event in Szczecin?

Renting a humanoid robot for a conference, trade fair or event in Szczecin starts with three pieces of information: the venue and room, the hours the robot should be present, and its role — welcoming guests, working a stand, appearing on stage, joining a panel or recording content for social media. From that, the provider picks a robot model, prepares what it will say for that specific event and plans travel, unloading and a back-of-house base.

In an operator-led rental the robot is not dropped off and left behind: a technical team brings it in, starts it, manages batteries and guest safety, and takes the equipment away afterwards. This is how MERA Robotics, a Warsaw-based company, works on events with humanoid robots in Poland and abroad. The general process is described in Humanoid robot rental for events; this article focuses on Szczecin.

Where are large conferences, trade fairs and events held in Szczecin?

Large trade fairs and mass events in Szczecin mainly take place at Enea Arena on Szafera street, which also has a conference room. Concerts, galas and staged conferences go to the Mieczysław Karłowicz Philharmonic, and the Opera at the Castle also rents out its spaces.

Venue Type What the venue states What matters for a robot
Enea Arena — main hall sports and entertainment arena 2400-square-metre floor, 5055 fixed seats, up to 6200 people in the hall trade fairs on the floor and mezzanine — unloading route, noise, connectivity
Enea Arena — conference room room on the first floor of building C 281 m², up to 230 people, interpreter booths conferences with interpreting — robot on stage and in the foyer
Szczecin Philharmonic concert halls for hire symphony hall with 953 seats, chamber hall with 192 seats stage appearance with sound system

Enea Arena

Enea Arena is Szczecin's main sports and entertainment arena, and it also hosts trade fairs. The main hall has a 52 x 36 m arena, a 2400-square-metre floor and a height of 12 to 16 m; the venue states 5055 fixed seats and a maximum of 6200 people in the hall. The floor alone holds 1176 people in a theatre layout, 1825 standing or 1170 at a seated banquet. Trade-fair events can use the floor, a 200 m² mezzanine and the main lobby. Parking provides 600 spaces for cars and 8 for coaches.

Events at Enea Arena include the Bud-Gryf & Home building and interiors fair (March 2026 edition) and the Szczecin Job Fair, whose 25th edition took place in April 2026. At fairs like these the robot usually works at an exhibitor's stand, so build-up hours, vehicle access and a back-of-house spot are agreed with the organiser.

Enea Arena's conference room is on the first floor of building C and covers 281 m². It is set up as standard with 120 chairs and 3 head tables, and depending on the layout it holds up to 230 people. The venue mentions rooms for simultaneous interpreters and a smaller 35 m² room that can serve as a meeting room — a good spot for the robot's back-of-house base.

Mieczysław Karłowicz Philharmonic

The Szczecin Philharmonic makes its building available for artistic events, conferences and corporate ceremonies. According to its rental page it has over 12 000 square metres of space. The symphony hall has 953 seats in total and a 17.4 x 10.6 m stage, while the chamber hall has 192 seats and an 11.7 x 6.5 m stage. It suits galas and conferences where the robot walks on stage: it greets guests, talks with the host or introduces the next item on the programme.

Opera at the Castle and hotels

The Opera at the Castle rents out its opera spaces, and smaller conferences take place in hotel meeting rooms. In historic interiors and hotels floor space is rarely the problem — more often you need to check lifts, thresholds, a narrow back-of-house area and the route through the lobby at busy times.

How do you plan robot logistics at Szczecin venues?

Logistics for a humanoid robot in Szczecin cover the crew's journey, vehicle access, unloading, the route to the room and a back-of-house base. Venues do not publish unloading details, so before the event agree with the organiser or venue on:

  • Access and build-up window — build-up hours, vehicle registration and passes for the technical crew.
  • Route to the stage or stand — levels, lifts, ramps and paths that avoid guests; the Enea Arena conference room is on the first floor, and a stand may also sit on the mezzanine.
  • Back-of-house base — a lockable room with a socket for the transport case, chargers and spare batteries.
  • Internet — a robot holding live conversations needs a stable connection; in a full hall public Wi-Fi is often overloaded, so a dedicated or backup connection is safer.
  • Sound — in the arena and the concert hall, connect the robot's stage appearance to the venue's sound system.

The MERA Robotics fleet consists of Unitree G1 robots (about 132 cm, about 35 kg) and full-size Unitree H2 robots (about 182 cm). The robots run on batteries, and the operators have spare batteries ready.

How should you prepare the robot's content for an event in Szczecin?

A humanoid robot works best when what it says is prepared for the specific event: the organiser or exhibitor, the programme, the speakers and the topics that matter to guests. MERA Robotics does this with an event profile containing knowledge about the client and the programme, which the robot draws on in conversations and on stage.

Give your provider:

  1. The robot's role — programme slots or stand hours.
  2. Company and offer — a short description, products, key messages.
  3. Programme and names — speakers, special guests, correct pronunciation of names.
  4. Topics to avoid — subjects the robot should not raise.
  5. Languages — if guests from abroad will attend, list the languages you need; the MERA OS system handles conversations in more than 30 languages, including Polish and English, with a voice matched to each language.
  6. Plan B — what the robot does if the network drops or the schedule shifts.

Stage scenarios are covered in A humanoid robot at an international trade fair.

Which robot should you choose for an event in Szczecin: Unitree G1 or H2?

The Unitree G1 is smaller and easier to move between the lobby, a stand and a room, so it suits guest conversations and trade-fair stands at Enea Arena. The full-size Unitree H2 is about the height of an adult and more visible on a large stage, such as the Philharmonic's symphony hall. A robot can also take on a brand identity: its own name, character, way of speaking and knowledge of the exhibitor's offer.

Models available to rent and to buy are listed in the Robots for rent and sale catalogue, and the differences between robot types are explained in Types of Robots.

How much does humanoid robot rental in Szczecin cost?

The cost of renting a humanoid robot in Szczecin depends on how long the robot is present, the location and the logistics, so every quote is individual. Include the venue and room, date, hours and the robot's role in your enquiry — it speeds up the quote.

Who can help organise a humanoid robot for an event in Szczecin?

A partner for a humanoid robot at a Szczecin event is worth assessing against checkable criteria:

  1. Own operators on site for the whole event, not just hardware delivery.
  2. Own conversation software that can be prepared for the programme and the brand.
  3. Supported languages — important at events with guests from Germany and other countries.
  4. Specific robot models in the fleet with stated height and weight.
  5. Experience at events in Poland and abroad.
  6. Sales and deployment, if the robot is to stay at the company or university after the event.

MERA Robotics from Warsaw runs events with its own operators and Unitree G1 and Unitree H2 robots, and handles conversations on its own MERA OS system in more than 30 languages, which is also used by clients in Poland, Romania and Germany. Abroad, the company has worked at an international trade fair in Cannes in September 2026, and its robot Edward Warchocki has been covered by Reuters, CNN and BBC News. Through the merarobots.com shop MERA Robotics sells Unitree robots together with configuration, team training and a pilot launch. Contact: contact@merarobotics.com.
