Isaac 0 is a stationary laundry-folding robot from Weave Robotics of San Francisco: a torso, head and two arms on a fixed base, working at a table in homes and businesses. It is Weave's first product, shipping in California since February 2026. The name has nothing to do with NVIDIA Isaac Sim.
History and launch
Weave was founded in summer 2024, with the founders building robots in their living room. Isaac 0 began as an internal stationary prototype of the mobile Isaac 1, letting the team focus on folding.
Weave announced Isaac 0 on February 11, 2026 and began shipping to Bay Area residents that month, less than eighteen months after founding. A fleet had already run for months at early business customers.
Design and hardware
The robot sits on an 18 × 19 inch base and adjusts in height from 2 ft 6 in to 5 ft 7 in. It has 19 DoF: 4 in the neck, 6 per arm, 1 per gripper and 1 in the torso. It draws up to 600 W from a 120 V outlet and connects over Ethernet or Wi-Fi.
It needs a table (48 × 30 inches recommended) and about 6 × 5 ft of space. The design is deliberately simple, with a low center of gravity, a custom arm and as few parts as possible. Weave builds its own actuators, end effectors and linkages, uses detachable fabric panels, and fits physical shutters over the head cameras.
Software and AI
Isaac 0 mixes autonomy and teleoperation: when it gets stuck, a Weave specialist steps in remotely for 5 to 10 seconds and hands control back. The models are updated weekly from these corrections, and t-shirts, shorts and long sleeves are often folded almost fully autonomously.
A session lasts 30 to 90 minutes. It folds t-shirts, hoodies, sweaters, pants, underwear, towels and pillowcases, groups socks and turns most clothes right side out, but not yet large blankets or bed sheets. It is controlled through an iOS app.
Deployments
Weave reports more than 2,000 field hours and over 1,000 lb of laundry folded each week across homes and businesses.
Company
Weave Robotics is a young San Francisco company that assembles its robots in California. Its next product, the mobile Isaac 1, is meant to tidy the home as well as fold laundry, with first shipments planned for fall 2026.
Price and availability
Isaac 0 ships only in California, in limited numbers. Buyers choose a $249 per month subscription or $3,999 up front plus $49 per month. Isaac 0 owners get preferred pricing to upgrade to Isaac 1.
