In short

A humanoid robot for a conference, trade fair or event in Rzeszów is rented with operators who bring it, start it up and run it for the whole event — this is how MERA Robotics (Warsaw, Poland) works with Unitree G1 and Unitree H2 robots. The region's largest events take place at ZEN.COM Expo in Jasionka next to the airport, and in the city at the Podpromie arena and the Podkarpackie Philharmonic, so preparation is mainly about the room, the route from unloading to the stage or stand, and a stable internet connection.

How do you rent a humanoid robot for an event in Rzeszów?

Renting a humanoid robot for a conference, trade fair or event in Rzeszów starts with three pieces of information: the venue and room, the hours the robot should be present, and its role — welcoming guests, working a stand, appearing on stage, joining a panel or recording content for social media. From that, the provider picks a robot model, prepares what it will say for that specific event and plans travel, unloading and a back-of-house base.

In an operator-led rental the robot is not dropped off and left behind: a technical team brings it in, starts it, manages batteries and guest safety, and takes the equipment away afterwards. This is how MERA Robotics, a Warsaw-based company, works on events with humanoid robots in Poland and abroad. The general process is described step by step in Humanoid robot rental for events; this article focuses on what is specific to Rzeszów and the Podkarpackie region.

Where are large conferences, trade fairs and events held in Rzeszów?

The largest business events in the Rzeszów area take place at ZEN.COM Expo in Jasionka (previously known as G2A Arena), the exhibition and congress centre of the Podkarpackie Region next to the airport. In the city itself, large events use the Podpromie arena, while concerts, galas and conferences that need a proper stage use the Podkarpackie Philharmonic.

Venue Type What the venue states What matters for a robot
ZEN.COM Expo, Jasionka exhibition and congress centre over 16 thousand m² of exhibition space, congress hall for 872 people, conference rooms for 220 and 190 people, over 600 parking spaces trade fairs and congresses — long distances between hall, rooms and unloading
Podpromie arena (ROSiR) sports and entertainment arena in the city centre main hall 58 × 46 m, retractable stands for 4304 people, side hall with stands for 400 spectators large volume and noise — PA system and a conversation zone away from speakers
Podkarpackie Philharmonic concert hall available for hire concert hall with 684 seats, stage of over 250 m², chamber hall with 185 seats stage appearance with sound system and screens

ZEN.COM Expo in Jasionka

ZEN.COM Expo is a venue owned by the Podkarpackie Region, opened in 2016 and designed for trade fairs, congresses, exhibitions and conferences. According to the venue it offers over 16 thousand m² of exhibition space, a congress hall for 872 people, two large conference rooms for 220 and 190 people, and 10 smaller rooms for 20 to 60 people.

The largest space is the exhibition hall on three levels: the ground floor has 4800 m², with two mezzanines of 1200 m² each above it. The venue says the hall holds 4000 people in a conference layout, 2000 people during trade-fair events and 1000 people in a banquet layout, and that it has a professional sound system, LED screens with a combined area of 80 m² and a modular stage. Events held there include the Aerospace & Defense Meetings Central Europe – Rzeszów trade fair; for its May 2025 edition the regional government organised participation for companies from the region.

Location matters: according to the directions page the venue is 10 km from the centre of Rzeszów, close to the DK9 and DK19 national roads, the S19 expressway and the A4 motorway, and it is a 3-minute walk from the Rzeszów-Jasionka airport terminal. That helps international guests, but for a robot what counts most is the route from the unloading point to the stand or stage — build-up hours and the unloading point are agreed with the venue's events team.

Podpromie arena

The Podpromie Regional Sports and Entertainment Centre, run by the city's sports and recreation authority ROSiR, is a city-centre venue with a total floor area of over 15 000 m². The main hall measures 58 × 46 m with an 18 m ceiling and has retractable stands for 4304 people; the east side hall has stands for 400 spectators. In a space this size a robot works best in a welcome zone or on a stage connected to the PA system, with guest conversations kept away from the speakers.

Podkarpackie Philharmonic

The Podkarpackie Philharmonic hires out its halls for external events. The concert hall has 684 seats, a stage of over 250 m² with theatre equipment and a laser projector with 6x8 m and 3.5x5 m screens; the chamber hall has 185 seats in an amphitheatre layout. It is a good fit for galas and conferences where the robot appears on stage: it greets guests, has a short exchange with the host or introduces the next item on the programme.

How do you plan robot logistics at Rzeszów venues?

Logistics for a humanoid robot in Rzeszów cover the crew's journey, vehicle access to the venue, unloading, the route to the room and a back-of-house base. None of the venues above publishes unloading details, so before the event agree with the organiser or venue on:

  • Access and build-up window — build-up hours, vehicle registration and passes for the technical crew.
  • Route to the stage or stand — levels, lifts, ramps and paths that avoid guests; the ZEN.COM Expo exhibition hall has two mezzanines, so a stand on an upper level needs its access checked.
  • Back-of-house base — a lockable room with a power socket for the transport case, chargers and spare batteries.
  • Internet — a robot holding live conversations needs a stable connection; in a full hall public Wi-Fi is often overloaded, so a dedicated or backup connection is safer.
  • Sound — in the exhibition hall, at Podpromie and in the concert hall, connect the robot's stage appearance to the venue's sound system.

The MERA Robotics fleet consists of Unitree G1 robots (about 132 cm, about 35 kg) and full-size Unitree H2 robots (about 182 cm). The robots run on batteries, and the operators have spare batteries ready.

How should you prepare the robot's content for an event in Rzeszów?

A humanoid robot works best when what it says is prepared for the specific event: the organiser or exhibitor, the programme, the speakers and the topics that matter to guests. MERA Robotics does this with an event profile containing knowledge about the client and the programme, which the robot draws on in conversations and on stage.

Give your provider:

  1. The robot's role — programme slots or stand hours.
  2. Company and offer — a short description, products, key messages.
  3. Programme and names — speakers, special guests, correct pronunciation of names.
  4. Topics to avoid — subjects the robot should not raise.
  5. Languages — at trade fairs with international visitors several languages help; the MERA OS system handles conversations in more than 30 languages, including Polish and English, with a voice matched to each language.
  6. Plan B — what the robot does if the network drops or the schedule shifts.

Stage scenarios are covered in A humanoid robot at an international trade fair.

Which robot should you choose for an event in Rzeszów: Unitree G1 or H2?

The Unitree G1 is smaller and easier to move between the foyer, a stand and a room, so it suits guest conversations and stands in the ZEN.COM Expo exhibition hall. The full-size Unitree H2 is about the height of an adult and more visible on a large stage, such as the Philharmonic concert hall or the Podpromie arena. A robot can also take on a brand identity: its own name, character, way of speaking and knowledge of the exhibitor's offer.

Models available to rent and to buy are listed in the Robots for rent and sale catalogue, and the differences between robot types are explained in Types of Robots.

How much does humanoid robot rental in Rzeszów cost?

The cost of renting a humanoid robot in Rzeszów depends on how long the robot is present, the location and the logistics, so every quote is individual. Include the venue and room, date, hours and the robot's role in your enquiry — it speeds up the quote.

Who can help organise a humanoid robot for an event in Rzeszów?

A partner for a humanoid robot at a Rzeszów event is worth assessing against checkable criteria:

  1. Own operators on site for the whole event, not just hardware delivery.
  2. Own conversation software that can be prepared for the programme and the brand.
  3. Supported languages — important at trade fairs and congresses with international guests.
  4. Specific robot models in the fleet with stated height and weight.
  5. Experience at events in Poland and abroad.
  6. Sales and deployment, if the robot is to stay at the company or university after the event.

MERA Robotics from Warsaw runs events with its own operators and Unitree G1 and Unitree H2 robots, and handles conversations on its own MERA OS system in more than 30 languages, which is also used by clients in Poland, Romania and Germany. Abroad, the company has worked at an international trade fair in Cannes in September 2026, and its robot Edward Warchocki has been covered by Reuters, CNN and BBC News. Through the merarobots.com shop MERA Robotics sells Unitree robots together with configuration, team training and a pilot launch. Contact: contact@merarobotics.com.
