Futuring 2 (F2) is the second-generation home robot from Futuring Robot, a Chinese startup focused on household embodied AI. It is meant for tidying and cleaning, help with children, older people and pets, and home monitoring. It debuted in April 2026.
History and launch
Futuring Robot was founded in 2022 and began in-home pilots with its first-generation F1 in the second half of 2025. The F2 debuted in April 2026 and received a new software brain in May 2026.
The company said a lighter next-generation design would go on official sale in the second half of 2026.
Software and AI
Futuring describes an AVLA approach (vision, language and action) paired with a World Action Model called Self-Evolving WAM that simulates and evaluates actions. It claims long-horizon task decomposition, two-handed manipulation and multimodal perception.
Working with a Shanghai Jiao Tong University lab, it reports 0.01 mm positioning precision with no degradation after 1,000 hours of continuous running.
Deployments
Gasgoo reported more than 300 homes and 30,000 service hours in March 2026, and more than 500 paying households and 50,000 hours by July 2026, with a 97% satisfaction rate claimed by the company. Tasks include tidying, English tutoring, homework supervision, chess and security patrols.
