CyberOne is a full-size humanoid prototype from Chinese electronics maker Xiaomi, developed by Xiaomi's robotics lab and shown publicly in August 2022. It was a showcase of Xiaomi's robotics and AI ambitions rather than a product, and its capabilities at launch were limited.
History and launch
Xiaomi revealed CyberOne in August 2022, a few weeks before Tesla showed its first Optimus prototypes; CNN Business framed it as a Chinese tech company beating Tesla to the reveal. According to Wikipedia the robot's abilities were very limited at the time, and the launch mainly signalled Xiaomi's plans for AI and humanoids.
On its official page Xiaomi presents CyberOne as the latest work of its robotics lab, developed fully in-house ("full stack").
Design and project status
Xiaomi calls CyberOne a "full-size humanoid bionic robot". It does not publish a current text spec sheet, and we found no confirmation that a newer "v2" exists. Figures quoted in catalogues (height, weight, DoF) refer to the 2022 prototype and could not be verified against Xiaomi sources here.
CyberOne was never sold or deployed commercially, and Xiaomi has not given a price or availability date.
