MenteeBot V3 is the third-generation bipedal humanoid from Israel's Mentee Robotics, presented in February 2025. It stands 175 cm tall, lifts up to 25 kg and is aimed mainly at warehouse work. Mentee has been owned by Mobileye since February 2026, which plans customer pilots in 2026 and series production in 2028.

History and launch

Mentee showed its first MenteeBot prototype in April 2024 and unveiled V3.0 in February 2025, with a redesigned torso, new hands, in-house actuators and 360-degree vision.

In November 2025 the company released an unedited 18-minute video of two V3 robots autonomously moving 32 boxes from eight piles onto flow racks, without teleoperation.

Design and hardware

Interesting Engineering lists the V3 at 175 cm tall, walking at up to 1.5 m/s and lifting up to 25 kg. Mentee designs its own actuators and claims up to three times the power of competing units, with better precision and power density.

The hands were redesigned for a firmer, impact-resistant grip. Besides head-mounted sensors, the robot has 360-degree vision from a rear camera and side fisheye cameras. The battery is hot-swappable, with more than three hours of continuous operation per pack.

Software and AI

Mentee calls its approach AI-first. Motor skills are learned in simulation with reinforcement learning and transferred to hardware (Sim2Real), and a foundation model lets people teach the robot through text instructions and live demonstrations.

The company describes a mentoring process in which the robot generalises a task from a few demonstrations using Real2Sim2Real (a real demonstration is recreated and multiplied in simulation) and then performs it autonomously without teleoperation.

Applications and deployments

In warehouses the V3 is meant to pick, carry and place goods; household uses such as setting and clearing tables or laundry are longer-term goals. Public demos so far have centred on warehouse tasks. Mobileye plans first on-site customer proof-of-concept deployments in 2026 and series production starting in 2028.

Manufacturer

Mentee Robotics was founded in Israel in 2022 by Amnon Shashua (Mobileye's founder), Lior Wolf (CEO) and Shai Shalev-Shwartz. Mobileye announced a deal to buy it for about US$900 million on 6 January 2026 and closed on 3 February 2026. It continues as a separate unit, Mentee by Mobileye.
