ProWhite (Chinese name Puluo Yuzhou Dabai, "Big White") is an industrial robot with a dual-arm humanoid torso on an AGV base, built by PL-Universe of Suzhou. It assembles, inspects, packs and moves parts in electronics and automotive plants with ±0.05 mm positioning accuracy. It is not a hotel service robot.
History and launch
PL-Universe was founded in January 2025 in Suzhou Industrial Park. Its first prototype was validated on a production line in June 2025, the company debuted at WAIC in Shanghai in July, and on August 8, 2025 it officially launched the Dabai robot at the World Robot Conference in Beijing. Version 2.0 followed on November 1, 2025 together with a partnership with JD.com. In April 2026 it exhibited at Hannover Messe, and in May 2026 it presented its "industrial product matrix 2.0".
Hardware
PL-Universe lists Dabai 2.0 at 1051 x 800 x 2035 mm and 400 kg. It rides on an AGV platform, and its lifting torso and two arms are said to cover a workspace 30% larger than a human worker's. Each arm has 6 DOF, 910 mm reach and roughly 7 kg payload, with 12 kg total; working height is 700-1300 mm. The PW20 user manual gives 6 kg payload and 900 mm reach per arm.
A 40 V 100 Ah battery gives at least 8 hours, charges in 2 hours and can be swapped. Instead of hands the robot uses modular end effectors swapped per task, such as screwdrivers, glue dispensers, soldering and oiling tools, plus a module for automatic loading and unloading of parts. The company makes its own dexterous hand but does not use it as the main tool on this robot.
Software and AI
PL-Universe describes its own parallel data-collection architecture (SDPAA) and an InduThread-VLA model aimed at generalising industrial tasks. The robot combines 3D vision with precise 2D positioning, and fleets are coordinated by a "super brain" for planning and a "small brain" for motion control. It takes jobs from a factory MES and moves between stations on its own.
Deployments
The company says Dabai is delivered in volume and works with leading customers in consumer electronics, automotive and semiconductors, without naming them, and it is exploring medical, retail, research and livestock uses. In April 2026 the robot appeared at a JD MALL store.
Manufacturer
PL-Universe Robotics Technology (Suzhou) Co. is based in Suzhou Industrial Park. It says its team comes from companies and institutions such as Tesla, Huawei, iFlytek and Tsinghua University, with 90% of staff in R&D. Its president is Ge Jin.
Price and availability
No price is published; robots are sold to businesses through the company's sales team.
