History and launch

UniX AI was founded in April 2024. Martian debuted alongside the wheeled Wanda 1.0 at the World Robot Conference in Beijing in August 2024, and Martian 2.0 followed in March 2026 with performance and feature upgrades.

Design and hardware

UniX lists 148 cm, 40 kg, a top speed of 4 m/s and 5 kg total payload. It has 6 DoF per leg, 7 per arm, 3 in the waist and 2 in the head, plus 11-DoF industrial dexterous hands, so it can squat, bend and pick objects off the floor.

Motors reach 150 Nm with in-house vector control. Thigh and shank are 320 mm each, upper arm and forearm 240 mm. It uses a CAN FD bus, a 9 Ah battery at 48 V, a 40 TOPS compute platform with 32 GB RAM, a depth camera, two RGB cameras and an IMU.

Software and AI

Martian combines perception with large models. UniX provides high- and low-level APIs for development and OTA updates, and develops the UniFlex (imitation learning), UniTouch (vision-tactile) and UniCortex (task planning) models.

Use cases

UniX lists home service, offices and malls, reception and guiding, elder care, entertainment, and research and education. The company says it has mass-produced robots since 2025 and delivered hundreds, without a per-model breakdown.

Company

UniX AI is based in Suzhou Industrial Park. Besides Martian it makes the wheeled Wanda 2.0 and Panther humanoids. At the 2025 World Humanoid Robot Games its robots won the hotel room service and reception challenges.

Price and availability

UniX AI does not publish a Martian price; inquiries go through its form and hotline.
