Unix Group Panther

In development

Panther is a full-size wheeled dual-arm humanoid, the third generation of wheeled robots from UniX AI of Suzhou, China. It adjusts from 160 to 175 cm, has 34 DoF and 8-DoF arms, and targets homes, hotels, offices, retail and reception. It is not, as some catalogs say, a fast security robot with night vision.

History and launch

UniX AI was founded in April 2024 and says it built its first prototype within three months. The wheeled Wanda 1.0 and bipedal Martian debuted at the World Robot Conference in August 2024; Wanda 2.0 with 8-DoF arms followed in December 2024 and entered mass production in May 2025.

Panther, the third-generation wheeled humanoid, launched in September 2025.

Design and hardware

Panther has 34 DoF, 8-DoF bionic arms (which UniX calls the first mass-produced ones) and adaptive grippers, with dexterous hands as an option. Both arms together carry 12 kg; each reaches 982 mm with ±0.5 mm repeatability.

A torso lift adjustable between 600 and 800 mm lets it reach from floor level up (total height 1600 to 1750 mm). The head has 2 DoF and the robot fits through 65 cm gaps. A four-wheel-steer, four-wheel-drive omnidirectional chassis reaches 2 m/s, with front and rear 360° LiDARs, ultrasonic sensors and an optional top 3D LiDAR.

It runs on a 48 V platform with 6 to 12 hours of battery life and up to 2070 TOPS of compute. The head carries RGB and RGBD cameras, plus dual speakers and a 6-mic array for voice interaction.

Software and AI

UniX AI develops UniFlex (imitation learning), UniTouch (a vision-tactile model) and UniCortex (long-horizon task planning). Panther ships with preloaded applications and is designed for fast learning of new tasks.

Deployments

UniX shows its robots making tea, making beds, delivering items, restocking shelves, cleaning toilets, inspecting fire hydrants and staffing exhibitions. At the World Humanoid Robot Games in August 2025 its robots won the hotel room service and reception challenges. It says it delivered more than 100 robots in a single month in December 2025.

Company

UniX AI is headquartered in Suzhou Industrial Park, China, and designs, mass-produces and deploys general-purpose humanoids. Besides Panther it makes the wheeled Wanda 2.0 and the bipedal Martian.

Price and availability

UniX AI does not publish a Panther price; inquiries go through its form and hotline.
