DEEP Robotics' first humanoid, the DR01, appeared at the World Robot Conference in Beijing; according to South China Morning Post coverage republished by the company, it climbed stairs, walked over steel bars and kept its balance when pushed. DR02 was launched in 2025, as CEO Zhu Qiuguo confirmed when announcing the Series C in December 2025.
Hardware
DR02's headline feature is a full-body IP66 rating, letting it work in rain, humidity and dust. It operates from -20 to 55°C, so it can move from a dry factory to rain outside or from cold storage to a hot workshop. The design is modular: forearms, whole arms and whole legs can be detached and swapped quickly to cut downtime and maintenance costs. The company mentions high on-board compute, but we did not find detailed specs (height, weight, degrees of freedom) in the text of its website.
DEEP Robotics also makes its own J60, J80 and J100 joint actuators, which already powered the DR01.
