R-noid is a wheeled humanoid from San Francisco's Robot.com (formerly Kiwibot, known for campus delivery robots). It has two 7-DoF arms and an articulated torso and handles repetitive jobs such as packing, picking, folding linens and hosting guests. Its commercial launch was announced in June 2026 under a robot-as-a-service model.

History and launch

CEO Felipe Chavez says the shift from Kiwibot delivery robots to workplace humanoids was nearly two years in the making. On 22 June 2026 Robot.com announced R-noid's commercial launch and showed it at Automate 2026 in Chicago.

Design and technology

R-noid has no legs: two 7-DoF arms and a 4-DoF torso sit on a holonomic wheeled base. It is 1.7 m tall with a 0.55 m base and weighs 90 kg. Payload is 4 kg per arm, vertical reach 0-1.9 m, and the battery lasts about 3 hours, with plug-in operation supported. End effectors are modular.

A front display and LEDs show expressions. The design and R-soul expression system were developed with Japan's Yukai Engineering.

Software and AI

For manipulation R-noid runs Physical Intelligence's π0.7 vision-language-action model. Robot.com also works with FieldAI on Field Foundation Models and uses NVIDIA's stack including Jetson modules and Isaac Sim. New tasks go through lab data capture, on-site VR teleoperation and then autonomy.

Applications and deployments

At launch R-noid comes in five roles (restaurant assistant, packer, picker, folder and host) with 19 deployable tasks across industrial, logistics, healthcare, food service and lodging. Business Insider, as summarized by the company, reported fewer than 40 R-noids deployed across about a dozen customers. Robot.com cites a live packer deployment at a golf course and work toward production at a large food manufacturer.

Manufacturer

Robot.com Holdings (formerly Kiwibot) was founded in 2017 and is headquartered in San Francisco with offices in Colombia; co-founder Felipe Chavez Cortes is CEO. It operates more than 500 delivery, logistics and advertising robots across the US, Canada, Dubai and MENA, and counts Sodexo among its clients.

Price and availability

R-noid is offered as robot-as-a-service, with 8-12 weeks from site visit to a working robot. Pricing is not published.
