H2 Plus is the research edition of Unitree's full-size H2 humanoid, fitted with an NVIDIA Jetson T5000 (Jetson Thor) module and optional Sharpa Wave tactile hands. It is 182 cm tall, weighs about 70 kg and lists at 100,000 USD in Unitree's store.
History and launch
Unitree presented the H2 humanoid under the tagline "Destiny Awakening", and the base H2 sells for 29,900 USD in its official store. H2 Plus appeared in the store in June 2026 as a version for researchers and AI model developers, built around NVIDIA's Isaac GR00T platform.
Design and hardware
Unitree lists H2 Plus at 1820 × 456 × 218 mm and about 70 kg with battery, with 31 body DoF: 6 per leg, 7 per arm, 3 in the waist and 2 in the head. With Sharpa Wave hands (22 active DoF each) the total rises to 75. Joints use low-inertia PMSM motors with crossed roller bearings, with peak torque of 120 Nm in the arms and 360 Nm in the legs.
Rated arm payload is about 7 kg, with a peak of about 15 kg. The body is aerospace-grade aluminum, titanium alloy and engineering plastics. A quick-release 15 Ah battery (0.972 kWh, up to 75.6 V) gives about 3 hours of runtime.
Sensing includes a wide-angle head stereo camera (140° horizontal), optional wrist cameras, an IMU, microphones and speakers. Alongside Intel Core i5 (platform) and i7 (user) computers it carries an NVIDIA Jetson T5000 with a Blackwell GPU: 2,070 FP4 TFLOPS, a 14-core Arm CPU and 128 GB of memory.
Software and AI
H2 Plus ships with NVIDIA's stack: Isaac TeleOp for demonstration capture, Isaac GR00T open foundation models, Isaac Sim and Isaac Lab for simulation and training, and Isaac ROS for moving policies onto the robot. Unitree supports OTA updates and full secondary development.
Applications and deployments
It is an R&D platform for labs and companies training manipulation and whole-body control models. Unitree warns that the humanoid industry is at an early stage and that individual buyers should understand the robots' limitations before purchasing.
Manufacturer
Unitree Robotics (Hangzhou Yushu Technology), based in Hangzhou, makes quadrupeds, the G1, H1, H2 and R1 humanoids and its own motors, reducers and lidars. The Wave hands come from Sharpa.
Price and availability
Unitree's official store lists H2 Plus at 100,000 USD, with a 12-month warranty.
