Digit Robotics XiaQi: specs, price, availability

Xiaqi (Chinese 夏起, model X02) is a bipedal service humanoid from Shenzhen-based Digit Robotics (Shuzi Huaxia). It has a semi-bionic face under a helmet and smart glasses and is built for customer service, showroom and mall guidance and reception work, not household chores.

History and launch

Xiaqi made its public debut on March 18, 2025 at the opening of an embodied AI application centre in Nanjing's China Software Valley, where ten units danced in sync. The company described it as a distinctly male character, with dark smart glasses and a blue mecha-style helmet over the upper face and an expressive bionic lower face.

It belongs to the company's Xiaqi line of general-purpose humanoids, alongside the Xialan line of realistic-face bionic robots and the Xingxingxia character robots.

Hardware

Digit Robotics' spec sheet lists the Xiaqi X02 at 169 cm, up to 69 kg and more than 40 active degrees of freedom. It walks at 1.2 m/s or faster and needs a 60 cm wide strip to turn in place. A 700 Wh battery gives at least 2 hours and charges in 2 hours; payload is 1 kg per hand and the operating range is -10 to 40 °C.

It walks autonomously on marble, carpet and wooden floors in indoor spaces of up to 100,000 m². The company says the face is highly customisable and that using off-the-shelf parts keeps personalisation affordable.

Software and AI

Xiaqi handles multi-turn voice conversation, face tracking, lip detection and sound source localisation, in several languages and Chinese dialects. It runs on Digit's Juhao embodied interaction platform, and tasks are configured in the graphical RoboEase environment, which also supports other robot brands. In 2024 the company signed a cooperation agreement on interactive service humanoids with speech-AI firm iFlytek.

Applications

Digit Robotics targets marketing and customer service, showroom and mall guidance, reception and enquiries. Xiaqi has appeared at the 2025 World Robot Conference, the 2025 World Internet Conference in Wuzhen and the BRICS industrial expo in Xiamen in May 2026; at WRC 2025 it handed water bottles to the company's robot dog for delivery to visitors. Unit sales for this model have not been disclosed.

Manufacturer

Digit Robotics (Shuzi Huaxia (Shenzhen) Technology Co.) was founded on March 12, 2024 by CEO Shen Jian. It is headquartered in Shenzhen, with Huaxia Robot (Nanjing) running a Nanjing branch. It raised tens of millions of yuan in an angel+ round from Cowin Capital in March 2025 and more than 100 million yuan in a Pre-A round in August 2026. It works with AgiBot, whose website lists the Xialan brand under "Premium Selection", and the two showed a joint robot-run retail kiosk in April 2026.
