AgiBot G2, part of the Genie line, is a wheeled industrial humanoid from Shanghai-based AgiBot, unveiled in October 2025. It has a bending torso with two arms on an omnidirectional wheeled base and targets assembly, logistics, inspection and guided tours rather than the home.

History and launch

G2 succeeds the Genie G1 and debuted at an AgiBot launch event in October 2025, where units assembled seatbelt lock cylinders, moved materials, sorted parcels and guided visitors. AgiBot showed an updated version in February 2026.

Hardware

The body has 26 degrees of freedom excluding hands, including a 5-DoF waist-leg assembly that lets it bend, twist and lean, plus two 7-DoF force-controlled arms with torque sensing. AgiBot highlights a cross-shaped wrist, claims sub-millimeter accuracy and 0.5 N dual-arm force control. Optional OmniHand grippers handle parcels of varied shapes.

A four-wheel-steer base moves in any direction, crabs sideways and turns on the spot. Dual hot-swappable batteries and autonomous charging target 24/7 operation. The robot is rated IP42, uses automotive-grade parts and works from -15 to 50°C, with 360-degree perception and omnidirectional obstacle avoidance.

Software and AI

Compute is an NVIDIA Jetson Thor T5000 (up to 2,070 FP4 TFLOPS). G2 runs AgiBot's GO-1 model, with perception (a vision-language model), planning and action layers, and GE-1, which lets the robot rehearse actions in simulation first. AgiBot says it learned RAM module insertion in under an hour. It supports multi-speaker conversation, low-latency teleoperation and one operator supervising several units. An SDK is available.

Use cases and deployments

AgiBot says G2 is being deployed in automotive parts production and precision electronics, without naming customers. Other target uses include logistics sorting, industrial inspection, guided tours, security and research.

Manufacturer

AgiBot (Zhiyuan Robotics) was founded in Shanghai in February 2023. It says it led global humanoid shipments in 2025 (an Omdia report puts it above 5,100 units), and its 15,000th robot rolled off the line in June 2026.

Price and availability

G2 is sold to business customers through AgiBot's sales team. No official price is published.
